Gymnastics class:     Springfield Park District and Turn Out Studio will be offering this class. The class will consist of Instruction, Conditioning and Training for Special Olympics. The program will include Rythmic and Artistic instuction.  The cost will be $20 for the season, going from November through the Illinois Special Olympics State Games, in June of 2010.  This cost will cover the class, transportation, uniforms and equipment. A park district registration and a special olympics medical app. will be required to participate. Contact: Deborah Bobell at the Springfield Park District, 217-544-1751 or deborahbobell@yahoo.com

 

Young Athletes is a sports play program for children ages 2-7 with intellectual disabilities along with their siblings and their peers, designed to introduce them into the world of sports. This program will prove enormously beneficial on multiple levels for your child including helping the children improve physically, cognitively and socially.
